The Girl Who Played With Fire by Stieg Larsson

This is the second book in the series about Lisbeth Salandar (the first being The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) and is all about Lisbeth and her dark history. The Millennium Journal is at it again, working to expose a large illegal sex trade when suddenly the two key players are murdered...and Lisbeth's fingerprints are on the gun. A manhunt begins and you spend the rest of the book trying to figure out what Lisbeth is up to.

I really liked this book, probably more than The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. This time, the book was actually about the main character and it was really compelling. The Swedish names are kind of hard for me to keep straight, but I definitely spent a few late nights on this one trying to read faster so I could find out what was going to happen. This is still definitely a dark series, so if you don't like reading about crime or violence then this probably isn't the book for you. Gingerrose rating, 4 out of 5, really liked it.
