Book 7 is set 6 years after Darren's ascension to a Prince. The War of Scars is in it's beginning stages, the Vampanize Lord is a Half blood at the moment. And there is the visit and prediction from Mr. Tiny to deal with. Darren and Crespley must leave VAmpire Mountain in search of the Vampanize Lord to kill him before is full blood. For them both it is good to out in the world, but the task is a heavy burden to carry, especially if they fail.
As with the other books this one is a fast read and a non stop read. I particularly enjoy the greater insight into Mr. Tiny and Harkat. It has my 5 out of 5 and PG 13 rating.
