This receipe came from my Grandmother who lives in snow country, where is I live in a snow free zone. So for my family we use an ice shaver if we can't get any snow.
1 very large bowl of fresh, clean snow
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C sugar
1 can evaporated milk
mix all ingredients into large bowl of snow and stir well, it should have the consistency of soft serve ice cream. Serve immediately. It is a fun tradition and a magical way to eat snow! We feel that the first snow or Christmas snow always taste best.
